Abstract

The public libraries in the Ancient Rome, have been opened one after the other, during the time of the Augustus, as a part of his restauration. One of those libraries was the Library of the Apollo's Temple (Bibliotheca Templi Apolinis). The time of founding this library would be analyzed in this work, as well as the it's exterior and interior design, organization, its materials and services that this library provided for the users.
