Abstract

This paper presents a bibliometric evaluation of the literature within the area of Pediatric urology in MEDLINE data which has been covered in PubMed. The study period has been chosen from the year 1981 to 2020. It is seen that 14711 records are accessible in the field of Pediatric urology. It has been observed that a sum of 9079 Journal Article records found and followed by; Review (1800 records), Research Support, and Non-U.S. Gov't (1513 records), Case Reports (309 records), Multicenter Study (286 records), Editorial (263 records), and so on The United States is the significant distributor in the field of Pediatric urology followed by; England, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Australia, France, and Japan. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) has been diminished and Doubling Time (DT) has been increased from the year 1982 to 2020 however it was in a conflicting way. It has been seen that 03 journals were assembled in zone-1 and distributed 3564 journal articles representing 33% of the complete result. Moreover, the subsequent second zone contains 69 journals that have distributed 3028 journal articles. An aggregate of 72 journals in zone-1 and zone-2 have been recognized as core journals in the field of Pediatric urology. It has been shown that the United States distributed an aggregate of 17 core journals and it was in the principal position followed by; England, Germany, Switzerland, and so on.
