The results of the study highlighted the most significant and leading journals in the area of behavioral finance, prominent authors, and commonly used keywords that have shaped behavioral finance research. The analysis of the study will be helpful and useful for the keen researchers who are inclined towards psychological biases and decision making as the findings and conclusions of the study will provide a historical perspective, along with identification of the reason for the sudden increase in the research output, and will share information about connexions between the articles, and recognising the evolving areas within the comprehensive theme of behavior finance.
