Bibliography and Text-Critical Responsibilities of the Author, 1962–2004

Abstract

This bibliography presents a list of books, articles, critical notes, book reviews, and text-critical responsibilities relevant to the discussion of the New Testament (NT) textual criticism in the book Perspectives on New Testament Textual Criticism: Collected Essays, 1962-2004. The book contains twenty-four articles that follow range widely over the discipline of NT textual criticism, and presents definition of textual variants, by skillfully applying the criteria for the priority of readings, and by isolating the early text-types. It discusses numerous new manuscripts of great importance, including, for example, the Chester Beatty papyri and the Bodmer papyri, and reviews the eclectic method employed in the textual criticism.Keywords: Bodmer papyri; Chester Beatty papyri; eclectic method; New Testament textual criticism; textual variants
