Abstract
There has recently been considerable interest in inflationary scenarious for the very early universe. 0.2) In this respect the de Sitter solution plays a crucial role as a cosmological model with a positive cosmological constant A.3) However, to overcome some fundamental difficulties with these concepts some super symmetric inflationary models or super cosmologies have been proposed.')-'B) It seems now probable that the new scenario of an inflating or chaotic universe can be completely realized within the framework of N = 1 supergravity.
