He works on comparative environmental policy and green politics. He has written Anti-Nuclear Movements (Longman, 1990) and edited Environmental Policy (Elgas, 1999) and Green Politics One, Green Politics Two, and Green Politics Three (Edinburgh University Press, 1990-95).
