Abstract
A mixed valence impurity with two magnetic configurations of total angular momentum J2 and J1 = J2 + 12, respectively, coupled by conduction electrons with total angular momentum 1/2 via hybridization is considered. The thermodynamic properties of the model are discussed, in particular the charge and magnetic susceptibilities and the specific heat.
