Abstract

In article number 1909529, Hung-Wing Li, Man Shing Wong, and co-workers develop amyloid-β (Aβ) oligomer-targeted gadolinium-based nanoparticles and demonstrate its utility in the visualization of Aβ content in an Alzheimer's disease mouse model in different age groups via in vivo near-infrared and magnetic resonance dual-modal imaging. Furthermore, the nanoparticle inhibits Aβ aggregation and attenuates reactive oxygen species generation, affording a smart theranostic nanoprobe.
