Abstract
The notion of generalized almost ψ-Geraghty type contraction nonself maps in partially ordered metric spaces is introduced, and some new best proximity point theorems for this class are established. Our results are generalizations of the result of Aydi et al. (Fixed Point Theory and Applications 2014:32) and some other authors. Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25
