Abstract

Anytime a new technology has been developed, it has been integrated into education. All these advances have traditionally raised concerns. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the next generation of technology that is already being included in educational contexts. It has also raised several concerns that will be presented in this paper. An umbrella review of the literature was conducted and the studies were analyzed using a meta-analysis review to answer the research question: what are the best practices for integrating AI in Higher Education (HE) institutions? Suggestions and best practices for AI inclusion in HE institutions are presented, as well as ethical concerns to observe.
