Abstract

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA — Hazing, defamation claims, due process, Title IX, and new state laws make for a complicated legal relationship between higher education institutions and fraternities and sororities. That's according to Micah E. Kamrass, Esq., Partner at Manley Burke, LPA, and Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Louisville and Vanderbilt University, who discussed best practices for managing this challenging area during his presentation at Stetson University's National Conference on Law and Higher Education.
