There is no shortage of websites for children. In May 2009, approximately 16 million children aged 2 to 11 years (9.5% of all online users) were reported to spend an average of 11 hours online (Nielsen Online, July 6, 2009). These data represent a 63% increase in time spent online in young children since 2004.
