Abstract

Performance Management deals with the challenge organizations face in defining, measuring and stimulating employee performance with the ultimate goal to improve organizational performance. This paper explores the multidimensional subject of measuring, managing, and improving performance through the application of performance management in executive education distance learning and suggests factors that need to be taken into consideration by distance learning organizations aspiring to be best in class.The paper is of particular interest to those responsible for the design and delivery of learning programs at executive level via distance learning and managers of distance learning educational establishments.
