Abstract
The high thermal conductivity and specific heat of high purity beryllium oxide ceramics at low temperatures make them useful for applications in electronics, automotive and aircraft igniters, and in microwave devices. Production, properties, and health aspects of beryllium oxide (BeO) are described.
