Abstract
Using the adiabatic approximation (AA), we have derived the dipolar autocorrelation function (DACF) for a hydrogen-like atom in an adiabatically cone-rotating electric field around an external uniform magnetic field. The DACF serves to compute the intensity of radiation in plasmas. We have found that the (AA) leads to the appearance of the Berry phase in the expression for the intensity of the spectral line in plasmas.
