Abstract
<h3>The Prize Offering of the Deutsche Medizinische Wochenschrift</h3> As mentioned in a previous letter, the editorial department of the<i>Deutsche medizinische Wochenschrift</i>(Berlin) offered, the beginning of this year, special prizes for the best contributions on the subject of "The Best Course of Medical Study, Particularly for the Training of a Practicing Physician." Only practitioners were invited to participate in the contest, since it could be assumed that university professors have sufficient opportunity to express themselves on the subject of reforms in the medical curriculum, in their suggestions to the central government.
