Abstract

By using an expansion in central differences (Stirling formula), a simple method of bit-error-rate (BER) evaluation is proposed for asynchronous multicarrier code-division multiple access (MC-CDMA) systems with equal gain combining (EGC) in correlated Nakagami-m fading channels. The results are compared with that obtained by Monte Carlo integration and perfect agreement is observed.
