Abstract
A method is described for the preparation of solutions of nitrosylnitrate complexes of ruthenium. Ruthenium chloride is transformed into ruthenium tetroxide which reacts with oxides of nitrogen in nitric acid to ruthenium nitrosylnitrate. The solution is labeled with 106Ru and spectrophotometrically investigated. The extraction behavior of the ruthenium complexes with neutral organic phosphorous compounds is investigated in comparison with other fission products dependent on the acid and salt concentration of the solution.
