Abstract

An experimental study is made of the influence of noise signals on the storage of information recorded in a memory superconducting cell-a persistotron-operating in the regime of the so called symmetric recording. The obtained data allow to judge the reliability of operation of such an element in the memory matrix and the requirements of the identity of the parameters of such elements forming the memory matrix. The calculation is given showing the influence of the spread of the characteristics of transition of the superconducting film into a normal state on the storage of information in the element at its read out by current pulses. The dependence between the value of an allowance for the spread of the element parameters and the number of read outs, after which the regeneration of the recorded in the element information should be made, was obtained experimentally. The conclusion is made about expediency of study of persistotrons operating in the regime of the so called asymmetric recording, using, in this case, thermal processes in the element, as in this case an increase of reliability of the memory matrix is expected.
