Abstract
The title compound, C13H11ClN2O, was obtained as the product of our attempted synthesis of biologically active compounds containing oxime ether and pyridyl groups. Intermolecular C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds link molecules into a linear structure and contribute to the stability of the molecular configuration. In addition, C—H⋯π hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure.
