Download this article . Michihiro Kaino is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, Doshisha University, Japan. He studied at the University of London and took the LLM in 2000. He has been working on Bentham's theory of codification and published a book entitled Jeremy Bentham, The Legislator of the World: The Revisit of Utilitarian Legal Theory , Tokyo, 2007. His current interest is the theory of Common Law and from September 2009, he will study at Queen Mary, University of London, as a visiting scholar.
