Abstract
A 42-year-old Asian woman presented with a pain welling of 2-year duration on her left mandibular ging linical examination showed a healthy 42-year-old fem ith no known systemic disease. Oral examination show n ulceroproliferative lesion in the gingiva extending o er left mandibular molars ( Fig 1). The lesion measuring m 3 cm appeared erythematous with a tendency leed. We also noticed a nodular lesion in the right post egion (Fig 2). An orthopantomogram showed generaliz one loss with marked destruction in t h e left mandibular olar region. Routine hematological investigations inclu ng a hepato-renal profile showed nothing but mild eo hilia.
