Abstract
The potential of elevated cancer risks from exposure to wireless radiation has been a major source of concern for many cellphone users. In common usage, about 50% of the radiated microwave energy is absorbed by tissues on the side of the head close to the handset. Cancer in the central nervous system has, therefore, snagged the attention of the general public, scientific investigators, and the cell-phone industry, almost since the introduction of the popular invention into contemporary society.
