Abstract
AbstractA theory of perfect plasticity based on the law of critical resolved shear stresses is used to calculate elastic‐plastic bending of crystal plates. Stress distribution (under loading and residual stresses) as well as curves of transient stress for loading process and unloading one are given. They radically differ from stress distribution and stress curves for isotropic body and considerably depend on the orientation of the plate and the bending moment.
