Abstract
An iterative scheme was successfully used in the boundary element method (BEM) for solving the eddy current problem in multiconductors with nonlinear permeabilities. The results show that the field densities and the power losses in the power cable are identical with that calculated by the finite element method.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
