Belarusian Narodniks on the historical mission of the national intelligentsia

Abstract

The article explores the views of representatives of the Belarusian Narodniks of the second half of the nineteenth century on the problem of the historical mission of the national intelligentsia. The basic assumptions of the concept of national revival of the Belarusian people are revealed, as well as independent political and cultural existence of the Belarusian territory, its formation and development of a national idea.
