Abstract
This paper describes the work undertaken with ethnic minorities in a clinic located in Central London. The understanding of different culture values and perspectives is important in order to provide appropriate therapeutic interventions for families from different cultures. One of the main characteristics of multi-cultural multi-family therapy with multi-problem families is the direct involvement of families in planning the therapeutic work and in providing help for other similarly affected families. Examples of a 'Family School' and a 'Family Day Unit' illustrate this approach.
