They are also members of the Genetics and Social Policy Group of Science for the People. The inspiration for this article and others they have coauthored on “The XYY Male: The Making of a Myth” in Harvard Magazine, October 1976, and on “Pitfalls of Genetic Screening Programs” in The Science Teacher, May 1976, comes, in part, from discussions within that group.
