Dear Editor: You published a case series for me in Pain Medicine 2011; 12:1414–1417. In the reports that I mentioned, I emphasized amino acids as the cause of their quick and robust response with treatment. During these treatments, the amino acids that were available at the hospital consisted of 3% glycerol and 3% amino acids.
