Abstract
In order to examine the behavioural consequences of some single genes which cause neurological aberrations, the frequencies of about 20 acts and postures displayed by solitary male mice when placed into a large observation cage were recorded. Attention was also paid to qualitative characteristics. For these purposes the mutants looptail, jerker, waltzer, and quaking were compared with wild-type animals from their own, non-inbred stock.
