Studies on the chronic kidney disease (CKD) population have highlighted difficulties with rates of adherence and compliance to exercise interventions. Ellen O'Connor, Iain Macdougall and Sharlene Greenwood look at behavioural change tools and techniques and how they can be used to encourage people with CKD to engage with physical activity and exercise therapy.
