Abstract
Thin films of Bi-Sb alloys of various compositions were prepared by vacuum evaporation onto flexible Mylar substrates. The strain-resistivity behaviour of the films was studied and the gauge factors of the films were determined. These alloy film strain gauges offer certain advantages over other alloy films and these are discussed.
