Abstract

(Abstracted from JAMA 2021;325:2087–2093) Overweight and obesity is increasingly common among women who are pregnant or are of childbearing age. Almost half of all pregnant women in 2015 were overweight (24%) or obese (24%) at the start of their pregnancy.
