Abstract

The equilibrium period of the stripe-domain structure on the magnitude of The magnetic field perpendicular to the surface of a film is derived on the basis of a trapezoidal distribution law of the emergence angle of the magnetization vector from the surface of the film. A computation of the magnetic frictional forces, leading to energy dissipation, is performed. Curves of the alternating magnetization of the stripe-structure in normal fields are obtained. The regions of applicability of the model used and of Saito's model are found.
