Abstract

The effect of annealing at 100-400°C on strengthening of ageing alloys of the Mg-Sm system subjected to rapid plastic deformation by torsion under pressure is studied. With the annealing temperature elevated to 200-250°C strengthening, caused by rapid plastic deformation, is retained, but it decreases with a further increase in temperature.
