Abstract

As the environment continues to deteriorate, people gradually realize the significance of re-realizing their place in nature. In the collection of stories, The sound of guimbarde behind the stone fence, Do Bich Thuy expressed her concern about climate change and the fate of people in those changes. The core of ecoethical thought in this collection of stories is a change in perception of nature, awareness of the human's position in the heart of nature as nature is also a part of human life, the memories of the homeland and the root from which to call people back to stay in harmony with nature. At the same time, Do Bich Thuy directly addressed some pressing issues such as the misuse and appropriation of nature, and urged people to penetrate, comprehend, and treat nature fairly in order to coexist with it.
