Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the opportunities, trends of changes anddevelopments on the beer markets of intentionally selected 10 out of 28 EU members countries.Time span of analysis covers 2010-2016 period. This is a comparison study. First, is shown the levelof beer production and consumption, which is increased dramatically in the past. Second, the majortrends in beer consumption are presented. Considering, many of beer enterprises were taken over byforeign investors, thus the context of the beer market globalization is presented. The Authormentioned also tax excise level, which is one of the significant factor that should be taking intoaccount by beer producers.
