AbstractInstruments and Related Products (MIC: 11.15 SIC: 3826 NAIC: 334516)Beckman Coulter is a biomedical testing company engaged in the manufacture of biomedical testing instrument systems, tests and supplies. Co. provides laboratory tools used to conduct basic research into the fundamental processes of human biology, to develop vaccines and drugs to treat disease, to conduct clinical trials and related research activities, and to perform various tasks from patient blood tests to diagnostic testing. Co. is organized into four business segments which include Chemistry Systems, Immunoassay Systems, Cellular Systems, and Discovery and Automation Systems. At Dec 31 2006, Co. marketed its products in more than 130 countries.
