Abstract

At present, the analysis of thin plate structure with small deflection and linear deformation is very mature, but the thin plate structure with large deflection and nonlinear deformation is often used in practical engineering design. Aiming at the thin plate structure with large deflection under out of plane load, this paper studies the bearing capacity of thin plate structure with large deflection under out of plane load by combining theoretical analysis, finite element simulation analysis and experimental analysis. According to the research, it is found that the process of theoretical analysis is complex and the workload and difficulty are too large. In practical engineering, some analysis results can be obtained quickly by using empirical formula and looking up the chart, but the application scope of these analysis results is small, and only the local stress results can be obtained. At present, designers usually use finite element simulation analysis to get the stress distribution of the whole structure. It should be noted that the geometric nonlinearity must be considered in the finite element analysis. The simulation results can provide a certain reference for engineering research and can be applied in practical engineering.
