Abstract

ABSTRACTBearded Dragons are one of the most popular reptiles kept as pets. They are regarded as low maintenance, friendly and inquisitive animals and, because of this, are highly desired. However, they are often presented for a variety of illnesses which, with the correct understanding of this species, could have been prevented. This article aims to inform the veterinary nurse about the common problems associated with keeping Bearded Dragons and about simple husbandry and dietary advice that they can give to owners to promote a healthier lifestyle.
