Abstract

This paper presents the results of electron beam trackingsimulations for a 30 MeV standing wave electron linac at Electron BeamCentre Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, India. For the pulsed mode operation of thepresent linac preferential operation parameters have been determined fromthe results of beam dynamics studies. This electron accelerator is a generalpurpose facility for generation of Bremsstrahlung X-rays and neutronscattering experiments. This electron accelerator-based experimental neutronfacility will be used for measurement of neutron cross-section (n,γ), (n, xn) and (n, f) reactions at different energies for various materialsand material irradiation studies.
