Abstract

A superconducting electron linac (e-linac) photo-fission driver is under construction at VECC for the upcoming rare isotope beam facility called ANURIB. Electron gun and straight low energy beam transport (LEBT) line has been installed and is operational at a test area, delivering electron beam of 100 keV. We discuss beam dynamics and analytical calculations leading to optimal parameters of analysing section of LEBT line and RF deflector cavity that will be used for measuring longitudinal characteristics for the low energy electron beam.
