Abstract
The Board ofPharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) was established to recognise and certifY pharmacists in specialised areas of pharmacy practice. In 1998, I was awarded one of four grants made available to Australian hospital pharmacists to seek certification in oncology pharmacy. This review aims to help Australian pharmacists, giving them insight into the trials and tribulations of studying for and ultimately passing the exam.
