With the donor public looking to ratings agencies such as Charity Navigator and the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance to determine how trustworthy a particular nonprofit is, it's increasingly important for charities to make sure their operations and finances are up to snuff. However, many don't meet all of the requirements or standards used to evaluate them.
