Abstract

The latest research from the Better Business Bureau's Give.org unit finds that the public's level of trust in nonprofit organizations has gone up nearly across the board, with increases in the portion of survey respondents that “highly trust” charities in 12 out of 13 categories. The exception was environmental organizations, which dropped moderately (0.4%) and had the least portion of respondents (16.0%) expressing high trust, according to the BBB's Give.org Donor Trust Report 2022: Five‐Year Review of Trust and Giving Attitudes.
