Abstract

This interview is dedicated to remembering the Russian scientist G.S. Batygin (1951–2003), who made a significant contribution to the field of sociological methodology. Particular attention is paid not so much to his scientific thinking, associated with intense critical reflection on different methodological approaches in social theory, but to ideas about him as a personality type.
