Abstract

The enzymatic hydrolysis of olive oil using Chromobacterium viscosum lipase B encapsulated in reversed micelles of dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate (AOT) in isooctane was carried out in batch and continuous mode in a reversed micellar membrane bioreactor. The influence of some process parameters (substrate concentration, residence time) in the performance of the system was investigated.
