Abstract
Basis set superposition effects, which may arise in Ab Initio calculations of electronic properties of the hydrogen bonded systems, are analized. The counterpoise technique of Boys and Bernardi in conjunction with the charge descomposition method of Morokuma is employed in order to examine the dependence of the components of the basis set superposition error. Prototype calculations for the HNOH 2O system are presented.
