Abstract

There have been plenty of examples of fraud and financial malfeasance in the nonprofit sector in recent years—some involving pretty major losses for charities. Thankfully, there are also plenty of ways in which engaged nonprofit boards can help ward off fraud by keeping on top of their organization's finances.
