Abstract

The historical Jesus is not the real Jesus. The real Jesus is not the historical Jesus. The historical Jesus is neither the real Jesus nor the easy way to him. After the five criteria is seen, five criteria will be considered; some of these secondary criteria may at times offer post-factum confirmation of decisions that has already been reached on the basis of the five primary criteria. The criterion of embarrassment or contradiction focuses on actions or saying. The criterion of multiple attestation focuses on those sayings or deeds of Jesus that are attested in more than one independent literary source and/or in more than one literary form or genre.
